Praise The Lord

Pslam 36:5-6

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep.

These verses stood out to me because I recognized them from a praise song based off of them.  So this post will be about giving praise.  See how my mind works?

Praise serves many functions in a believer’s life.  First and foremost, it adds to the glory of the Lord.  Next it is a natural outlet of appreciation from a sinner saved from eternal destruction.  Also it is a method of worship (don’t confuse worship with praise – worship is a much broader term) which is essential to living out one’s Faith.

The Lord is worthy of all our praise.  It is impossible to praise him too much.  So however much you are praising him now, I encourage you to do a little more!  Be it in song, prayer, or conversation with others.  Shout it from the rooftops if you feel so led.  Just give glory to the one that deserves it above all others.

Praise Jesus!
